My name is Fran
and I'd like to introduce myself...
I am Fran Baxter-Hunter, the creative mind, body and soul behind Hunter Gatherings, a small but mighty wedding and craft party business based in Bristol.
I am passionate about all things wedding, craft in all shapes and sizes and lover of a chunky knit jumper and statement earring.
You will often find me in the studio (my spare room/storage haven), with a half drunk cup of tea, piles of card and paper, watercolours and glue gun sticks around me. If I’m not there then I’m making the most of the wonders of Bristol, a local coffee shop or out in the countryside (that’s the Devon girl in me).
With nearly a decade of design and events experience behind me, and more recently working as a Design and Technology teacher in Weston-Super-Mare. I am fully qualified for all things planning and party based!
Working with people and being practical and hands on is always something I’ve loved but as the pressures of teaching took its toll, I looked to find other ways of being more creative again and returned to freelance design work. This time in the form of wedding invitations, stationery and decorations.
I realised quite quickly that my passion for creativity, sharing my skills and making beautiful things on more of a personal level was far more important to my health and my happiness. (As well as being a whole lot more fun and rewarding.) So in January 2019 I took the leap into the wedding industry and Hunter Gatherings was born.
As a creative I fully understand and appreciate the desire for everything to look Pinterest worthy, unique and stylish. All whilst considering budget, time and translating ideas into well made decisions.
Therefore if you’re getting married, planning a hen party, baby shower or craft party. Then Hunter Gatherings is here to help.
Together we can make your dream become a reality. By creating a unique set of wedding invitations, on the day stationery or a specially selected craft party tailored to suit your special occasion. For more information contact me.
